Welfare facilities are used hard, every single day. SBNT Cleaning Contractors provides dedicated welfare cleaning services for construction sites, industrial units and commercial premises across Teesside and the North East, keeping canteens, toilets, drying rooms and rest areas hygienic, compliant and fit for the people relying on them.
What Our Welfare Cleaning Covers
We work to site-specific schedules, whether that’s a daily visit, several times a week, or a set rota agreed with your site manager:
Toilets and washrooms
Full sanitisation, restocking checks and odour control
Canteens and rest areas
Surfaces, seating, appliances and floors cleaned to food-hygiene-conscious standards
Drying rooms and changing areas
Kept clean, ventilated and free of build-up
Welfare cabins and portable units
Internal cleans covering static and mobile welfare facilities
General waste management
Bins emptied and consumables replenished as part of the visit
High-touch point sanitisation
Door handles, taps, switches and shared equipment
Why Site Welfare Cleaning Matters
Clean welfare facilities aren’t a nice-to-have — they’re a legal requirement under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, and a direct factor in staff morale, health and productivity. Poorly maintained welfare units lead to complaints, low morale and, in worst cases, HSE enforcement action. SBNT helps principal contractors and site managers stay compliant and keep their workforce looked after, without adding to their own workload.
Flexible Around Your Site
Our welfare cleaning teams are used to working around live construction and industrial environments — fitting in before shifts start, during breaks, or at agreed intervals that suit your programme. We’re fully insured and site-induction ready for any project.
